I have finally given in to my secret desire to be an interweb blogger. Having recently been inspired by both a friend who also blogs as well as a recent change of scenery and outlook on life, I thought "why the heck not." Plus, I saw a clip of Doogie Howser which made me nostalgic and reminded me of my dream to one day be able to write my most intimate thoughts onto a computer.
Which, I guess, leads me to the theme of this blog. Everybody needs a gimmick, so this is mine. I've always been obsesses with all things pop-culture related. Movies. Music. TV. Comics. I just seemed to devour whatever form of escapism presented itself. It's not like I grew up as the scrawny, Filipino version of Precious. I didn't have to create an imaginary world to get away from a horrible living environment. I actually had a pretty kick ass childhood. I'm sure there are tons of psychological reasons why I love mass media as much as I do, but I'm sure that's another blog for another day.
So I guess from now on I'll be blogging about the stuff I love, which, if you read it, you'll find out is a LOT of shit.
Alright blogosphere... BRING IT.
